The Anthrodia Universe is the setting in which all the information, systems, and characters discussed within this wiki pertain to. Also referred to as the Realm of the Fae, it is inhabited by a wide variety of diverse races, houses many unique forms of Magic, and is home to a variety of global powers throughout its storied history.
Origin
It is not understood from what, where or why the Realm originated. It is simply understood to have always "been." However, it was not always in it's current state; the Sea of Souls, as well as the existence of the Fae themselves, in the history of the Realm, would be a very recent addition, only occurring within the last two to three thousand years. Before this point, a single race of people, nomered the "whole-folk" by prehistorians and theorists, inhabited the world, known as Terra. Night-time was pitch dark, with nothing but the two moons lighting the land below, as opposed to the endless Sea of Souls which now populates the night sky. Additionally, the existence of Magic took one, True form, as opposed to the three principles and myriad schools that now exist. There is also a secondary realm to that of Terra, that being The Endless Expanse, also known as the Abyss. Very little is known about the Expanse, but it is theorized to have been around for as long as Terra itself has, or perhaps even longer. It is home to an innumerable amount of creatures, often named "Abyss creatures" or "demons" throughout culture and history. Power, size, physical characteristics, and so on vary wildly between creatures, but it is generally understood that, where Abyss creatures appear, trouble soon follows.
History

The history of the Realm is very extensive and storied, thus it cannot be summarized simply. However, it can be organized into a variety of significant eras:
- Pre-Sundering, the era before The Great Sundering which brought the Realm into its current state.
- The Age of Chaos, the period of time after The Great Sundering which comprised of great tribal warfare and societal unrest.
- Pre-History, the period of time before the beginning of recorded history.
- The Stone Ages, divided into the Palaeothic Era, the Mesolithic Era, and the Neolithic Era, where society slowly adopted stone and flint tools and formed basic civilization.
- The Copper Age, where the beginning of Metallurgy supplanted stone and flint tools with rudimentary copper tools.
- The Bronze Age, where the discovery of alloying brought about a minor metallurgic revolution, with the most noteworthy invention being bronze.
- The Metallurgic Revolution, where a series of technological advancements propelled metallurgy greatly, allowing for refined production of iron and bronze, among many other metals and alloys.
- The Red Magic Golden Age, spurred on by the Red Magician's Rebellion, the field of Alchemy underwent a swift and dramatic acceleration in discovery and invention, most notably the invention of the red magic gauntlet.
- The Electro-Industrial Revolution, where the invention of electricity spurred on the acceleration of society and technology in innumerable ways.
- The Present day.
